This is a small space where I present my own paintings. It is not a conventional gallery with a separate exhibition room and white walls. The paintings exist here in an everyday setting — among people, conversations, changing light and the natural rhythm of the place.
The gallery is located inside the Meat Fellas restaurant. This makes it possible to see my works not only in photographs or on a screen, but up close and at their actual scale. With paintings built through impasto and relief, this is particularly important — their surfaces change with the light and with the viewer’s position.
Bosacka 7 also has a culinary chapter of my own. The Meat Fellas menu includes “Żeberko Optymalne” (“Optimal Ribs”) — a dish prepared according to my original culinary recipe, created in accordance with the principles of the Optimal Diet. The recipe received the approval of Tomasz Kwaśniewski, son of Dr Jan Kwaśniewski, creator of the Optimal Diet.
To the best of my knowledge, it is the only “Żeberko Optymalne” of its kind in Poland and in the world. So while visiting the paintings, you can also try a somewhat different form of my creativity. :)
The paintings can be viewed during Meat Fellas opening hours:
Monday–Thursday: 12:00–22:00
Friday–Saturday: 12:00–24:00
Sunday: 13:00–22:00
